Marigold è l'album scorso dove i PINEGROVE ci avevano gia dato un saggio del loro suono, indie-rock e spunti folk. Questa ultima fatica, per la band americana e' la colonna sonora dello stesso lungometraggio, scritta dallo stesso leader VAN STEPHANS HALL e diretto da KENNA HYNES. Ben 21 i brani scritti tra college rock, pause acustiche e forzature elettriche, il tutto con una bella dose di malinconia di fondo.
Marigold is the last album where PINEGROVE had already given us a sample of their sound, indie-rock and folk ideas. This latest effort, for the American band, is the soundtrack of the same feature film, written by the same leader VAN STEPHANS HALL and directed by KENNA HYNES. 21 songs written between college rock, acoustic pauses and electric forcing, all with a good dose of underlying melancholy.
