Second work for this quintet from Brighton, we are faced with a work that will certainly leave its mark, within which we find sounds from BAUHAUS, SHLLAC KILLING JOKE up to AT THE DRIVEN IN, a true sonic journey between dark moments, others abrasive, others hyper electric, where guitars and basses are the true undisputed protagonists.

MOGWAY with THE BAD FIRE-superior

 Undicesima fatica per la compagine scozzese, dopo aver per alcuni membri, passato tempi di sofferenza questa fatica trasuda forse anche della sofferenza, del drammatico, prodotto da John Congleton, il suono che ne esce è una via di mezzo tra geografie cinematografiche e spasmi post-punk dai contoni sempre piu' siderali.

Eleventh effort for the Scottish band, after having gone through times of suffering for some members, this effort perhaps also exudes suffering, of the dramatic, produced by John Congleton, the sound that emerges is a cross between cinematic geographies and post-punk spasms with increasingly sidereal contours.

 Torna questa band dal guitar-pop davvero eccellente, sono passati ben sette anni dal loro ultimo lavoro, e ovviamente tanti sono stati gli avvenimenti nello loro vite, cosi' ne è scaturito un disco con buone melodie, piu' intimo, piu' caldo, con grandi momenti vocali.

This band with truly excellent guitar-pop is back, seven years have passed since their last work, and obviously there have been many events in their lives, so the result is an album with good melodies, more intimate, warmer, with great vocal moments.

 Band nata in Australia, nel 2021 da una costola dei GOLGOTHAN REMAINS, stanno diventando una realta' sempre piu' intressante, grazie a un forte suono dark dall'influenza black metal. Il trio dimostra con questa seconda opera di saperci fare sul serio, è difficile pure fare dei paragoni, meglio cosi' a volte.....

Formed in Australia in 2021 as a spin-off of GOLGOTHAN REMAINS, they're becoming an increasingly interesting band, thanks to a strong, dark sound with black metal influences. With this second effort, the trio proves they're serious about what they're doing; it's hard to even make comparisons, but sometimes it's better that way.

 A band that comes from the Icelandic underground, they came to prominence thanks to a metal festival, it is not possible to define exactly which genre to place them in, given that they are able to play post-metal decks of the ISIS and NEUROSIS variety, OR ROBUST METAL FROM THE WALL OF GUITARS TO GOJRA, up to touching OPETH, this is a further point in their advantage as they also touch on progressive style.

Provenienti dalla scena underground islandese, si sono fatti conoscere grazie a un festival metal. È difficile definire con precisione il genere in cui collocarli, dato che sono capaci di suonare post-metal alla ISIS e NEUROSIS, oppure ROBUST METAL da THE WALL OF GUITARS a GOJRA, arrivando persino a sfiorare gli OPETH. Questo è un ulteriore punto a loro favore, poiché toccano anche sonorità progressive.

After many personal ups and downs, David Pajo, with his experience with Slint, Tortoise, Zwan, Gang of Four, and other projects, confirms his status as one of the most courageous guitarists of his generation with this latest album. These six songs encompass a variety of souls, from acid rock to Lou Reed, all the way to Mogway, and ending with a moving ballad à la Tom Waits.
