 A solo 24 anni, ma ha già sei album lle spalle, ben due nell'anno 2024.Lui ha una indubbia capacità di saper scrivere gemme in ambito folk e pop barocco, con tanta melodia e finezza. Questo ultimo lavoro èun omaggio al pop e beat inglese dei anni 60, in primis i KINKS. Ci si muove tra psych-pop, momenti alla Beatles, davvero un disco puro nell'ambito armonico ed elegantissimi.

He's only 24, but he's already released six albums, two of which are due in 2024. He has an undeniable ability to write gems in the folk and baroque pop genre, with a wealth of melody and finesse. This latest work is a tribute to 1960s English pop and beat, especially The Kinks. It moves between psych-pop and Beatles-esque moments, a truly pure and elegant album in terms of harmony.

 La band lascia i suoni dei esordi fatto di oscure tinte postpunk, per andare incontro a un rock ibrido, fortunatamente lasciando intatto la loro petenza espressiva. Nel loro suono rimane una forte inquietudine esistenziale, lo si nota ad ogni accordo, un vero grido lancinante. Ci si muove tra brani taglienti e altri piu' rarefatti , tra momenti piu' sperimentali.

The band abandons the dark post-punk sounds of their early days, moving towards a hybrid rock style, fortunately preserving their expressive power. Their sound retains a strong existential unease, evident in every chord, a truly piercing cry. The music moves between sharp and more subtle songs, between more experimental moments.

 Torna una delle band piu' malinconiche , dimostrano che hanno ancora tano da dire, senza avere nulla da dimostrare. Un disco che suona in maniera molto intima con un trasporto epico. Ci si muove tra melodie magnetiche si contorciono a muri di suono alla Phil Spector. Cè un grande groove, tra momenti orchestrali, spunti ambient, bagliori romantici e synth sempre ben in evidenza. 

One of the most melancholic bands returns, proving they still have a lot to say, without having anything to prove. This album sounds very intimate with an epic transport. It moves between magnetic melodies that twist into walls of sound à la Phil Spector. There's a great groove, between orchestral moments, ambient hints, romantic flashes, and synths that are always clearly in evidence.

 Sono trent'anni che MARK TREMONTI calca i palchi prima con i CREED , poi ALTER BRIFGE e il suo omonimo progetto.Si è fatto spazio nel panorama dei chitarristi har'n'heavy, cercndo il giusto equilibrio tra il mainstream e il metal estremo, dove fa eco la melodia tra riff pesanti e dal sapore prog. Questo album segna forse un appannamento, c'è il solito mestiere ma manca quel qualcosa che lo fa elevare, tra alt rock, ballad, pop e i soliti assol da manuale. 

MARK TREMONTI has been performing for thirty years, first with CREED, then with ALTER BRIFGE and his eponymous project. He's carved out a place for himself in the har'n'heavy guitarist scene, striking the right balance between mainstream and extreme metal, where melody resonates amidst heavy, prog-flavored riffs. This album perhaps marks a decline; the usual craftsmanship is there, but that certain something that elevates it is missing, between alt rock, ballads, pop, and the usual textbook solos.

A band that hasn't released any new material since 2017, Covid has damaged the English band a lot and they have struggled to find their old path. They are among the proponents of STONER DOOM, and here they offer us a live studio performance in excellent form with their dirty, hypnotic and essential sound. This album still gives us the idea that live they remain among the number one.
