The band featuring McArdie and Williams is back. They've always been into hardcore punk, but with this latest album, they've radically changed their sound. From their punk past, only the guitar influence remains, and they've mellowed out, moving towards melody. The whole thing becomes more captivating with excursions into folk and country.

They hail from Australia, from Melbourne and the city's punk scene, a sound that shows no signs of dying out, and that's undoubtedly a good thing. Bene questo loro ottavo diisco, rende omaggio alle loo origini grazie a ieci brani dove è racchiuso il loro suono, l'andare a ritroso ha si un significato di omaggio alle loro radici.

A new album from one of the most interesting folktronic bands, twenty years have passed since their excellent debut, which immersed them in acoustic folk, electronic minimalism, and a touch of paganism. This eighth album pays homage to their origins with ten tracks that encapsulate their sound; going back in time is indeed a tribute to their roots.

 Undicesima fatica per la compagine scozzese, dopo aver per alcuni membri, passato tempi di sofferenza questa fatica trasuda forse anche della sofferenza, del drammatico, prodotto da John Congleton, il suono che ne esce è una via di mezzo tra geografie cinematografiche e spasmi post-punk dai contoni sempre piu' siderali.

Eleventh effort for the Scottish band, after having gone through times of suffering for some members, this effort perhaps also exudes suffering, of the dramatic, produced by John Congleton, the sound that emerges is a cross between cinematic geographies and post-punk spasms with increasingly sidereal contours.
