 NICK SALOMON torna come THE BEVIS FROND , dopo qualche anno di assenza e dopo i lontani fasti dei anni 80,dove porto' delle sue opere di rock psichedelia, legato al filone degli anni'60, questo suo nuovo lavoro ripropone fedelmente il suo suono, fatto di assoli di chitarra in chiave sixty, il suo scrivere è ancora di buona fattura, perfino con uno scrivere piu' diretto con belle influenze punk.

NICK SALOMON returns as THE BEVIS FROND, after a few years of absence and after the distant glories of the 80s, where he brought some of his psychedelic rock works, linked to the 60s trend, this new work faithfully proposes his sound, made of guitar solos in a sixties key, his writing is still of good quality, even with a more direct writing with nice punk influences.

 Finalmente un loro nuovo lavoro, in versione analogica, dove il rock blues entra a far parte del loro suono dove viene fuori un filone di malinconia, ma non mancano poi momeni Brit, Folk, Alt-rock, ballate vche ti avvolgono, cori in chiave soul, insomma una vera sorpresa, per un disco piu' intimo, romantico, una specie di colonna sonora del vissuto quotidiano. 

Finally, their new work, in an analog version, where blues rock becomes part of their sound and a vein of melancholy emerges, but there is no shortage of moments of Brit, Folk, Alt-rock, ballads that envelop you, soul-inspired choirs, in short, a real surprise, for a more intimate, romantic album, a sort of soundtrack to everyday life.

 Torna questa band che forse meroita piu' attenzione un po' da tutti, questo nuovo lavoro spinge versoi una direzione punk, dark-rock, un percorso grezzo, polveroso. Ci sono chitarre davvero pesanti, riff sporchi, senza tante mezze misure,ma il loro marchio di fabbrica esce ben in evidenza, un album a fari spenti..... 

This band, perhaps deserving of more attention from everyone, is back. This new album pushes towards a punk, dark-rock direction, a raw, dusty path. There are really heavy guitars, dirty riffs, and no half measures, but their trademark comes through clearly. This is an album with the lights off.

 I fratelli REID tornano con questo disco , il loro ottavo lavoro in oltre quaranta anni di musica, per loro sembra che il mondo sia fermo a quei tempi, un vero ritorno al passato, quando guardavano a band come i SUICIDE, i Beatles, gli Stones e chiaramente i VELVET UNDERGROUND. Sono fuori da questi tempi frenetici, rimangono con i loro suoni tesi, abrasivi e dal cupo romanticismo, cosi' come lo erano fin dai esordi.

The Reid Brothers return with this album, their eighth in over forty years of music. For them, it feels like the world has stopped in those days, a true throwback to when they looked to bands like Suicide, the Beatles, the Stones, and of course, Velvet Underground. They're outside of these frenetic times, remaining with their taut, abrasive, and darkly romantic sounds, just as they have been since the beginning.

 Esordio sulla lunga distanza della promettente band di Dublino, dopo due EP di successo e un tour. I suoni ricordano i FOTAINES D.C. , le SAVAGES e AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS. Quel rock'n'roll con le varie correnti garage rock, post rock decadente e power-pop di facile presa. ulla di nuovo ma comunque sia meritano d essere seguiti con attenzione.

This is the debut full-length album from this promising Dublin band, following two successful EPs and a tour. Their sound is reminiscent of FOTAINES D.C., SAVAGES, and AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS. That rock 'n' roll with its various influences of garage rock, decadent post-rock, and easily accessible power-pop. Nothing new, but they're definitely worth checking out.
