Over 18 years have passed since the previous album, a long time has passed for the Swedish band. They were one of the most interesting bands on the Scandinavian scene at the time, rooted in a prog-rock sound with a touch of folk rock and gentle giant-style harmonies. This new album is more theatrical, less folk, and more symphonic rock, a work that shows a band in top form.

Doctor Koch has led the Düsseldorf-based band Vibravoid for over 25 years, and throughout this time their sonic formula has remained unchanged, embedded within a universe of psychedelic pop, with clear references to Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, The Seeds, and Can. The Welsh band has been around since 2016, a power-punk-pop trio. This is their third album, and they've landed on SUB POP. They've been fortunate to churn out song after song, haven't had any inspirational crises so far, and hark back to legends like THE FALL and MODERN LOVERS. QUIVERS with OYSTER CUTS-ready for the big leap

 Terzo album per la band di MELBOURNE, grazie al loro guitar pop fresco, brillante  legati a certe malinconie indie . C'è un progresso con arrangiamenti piu' vicini alla new wave, melodie critalline e brani immediati sono la ricetta vincente ma non disdegnano molti ruvidi cosa che non guasrta per nulla.

This is the third album for the MELBOURNE band, thanks to their fresh, brilliant guitar pop tied to a certain indie melancholy. There's progress with arrangements closer to new wave, crystalline melodies and immediate songs are the winning recipe, but they don't disdain a lot of roughness, which doesn't hurt at all.

POM PKO with CHAMPION-I would say light

 Quartetto norvegese che si rifa' decisamente a un suono indie-alternative dal sapore lo-fi dentro in un contesto dei anni' 90 e i primi del 2000. Brani piacevoli, che scorrono nei vari singoli del disco, grazie a una voce delicata e a chitarre a volte distorte ma non troppo, cercasi energia del passato.

Norwegian quartet that definitely draws on an indie-alternative sound with a lo-fi flavor within a context of the 90s and early 2000s. Pleasant songs, which flow across the various singles of the album, thanks to a delicate voice and guitars that are sometimes distorted but not too much, looking for the energy of the past.
